Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Vehicle Requirements and Verification Engineer to develop vehicle-level requirements and verification plans, coordinating with NASA and partners. You will help define system interfaces, manage changes, and drive efficient verification campaigns for lunar transport hardware.

Ideal candidates will have strong systems engineering experience, excellent communication, and the ability to work across multiple teams in a safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Experience using requirements and functional analysis to specify and verify complex systems.
• Experience defining and managing interfaces and interface agreements.
• Deep knowledge of the systems engineering process and technical budgets.
• Ability to earn trust and foster inclusion.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• BS degree in engineering or a technical field.
• US citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Manage system-level and system-of-systems requirements.
• Coordinate interface requirements and cross-team dependencies.
• Define and maintain vehicle-level verification plans.
• Develop system (vehicle) -level verification plans and integrate subsystem events.
• Develop verification closure products for Blue Origin and NASA.
• Track metrics to close out requirements and verification products.
• Provide leadership to element teams and uphold leadership principles.
