Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Vehicle Requirements and Verification engineer for the Lunar Permanence team. You’ll create vehicle requirements, coordinate with NASA and partners, and lead verification planning to deliver a safe lunar transport system.

You will manage system interfaces, track metrics, and guide multiple teams, applying leadership principles and strong engineering judgment to optimize design, test, and delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in requirements and functional analysis to specify and verify complex systems.
• Experience with interfaces and interface agreements.
• Understanding of systems engineering processes and budgets.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• U.S. citizen, national, or eligible for U.S. work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Manage system level and system-of-systems requirements with NASA and partners.
• Coordinate change control, impact assessments, audits, and cross-team work.
• Define system interfaces and external vehicle interfaces.
• Develop vehicle-level verification plan and integration of subsystem events.
• Prepare Verification Closure Notices for Blue Origin and NASA.
• Track progress against plans and verification products.
• Apply engineering judgment to design, manufacture, test and deliver.
• Lead and coach element teams and promote leadership principles.
