Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Space Vehicle Requirements & Verification Architect to define and manage mission verification plans across Blue Ring missions. You will collaborate with spacecraft, flight software, payload, and ground systems teams to ensure traceability and successful sell-off of system requirements.

The role emphasizes model-based systems engineering, verification data aggregation, and development of end-to-end verification strategies for complex space vehicles, with travel and relocation

Qualifications

• BS in aerospace, electrical, mechanical or software engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of space system development or test engineering experience.
• 2+ years of spacecraft verification experience.
• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Jama).
• US citizen or eligible for US clearance (TS/SCI).
• Ability to define and verify complex system requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead mission requirements and verification activities for Blue Ring missions.
• Define verification plans across multiple customers and missions.
• Develop and manage verification modules with interfaces and traceability.
• Create system-level verification plans and roll-up reports.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (spacecraft, ground systems, payload).
• Support launch-site testing and verification of end-to-end system.
