Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Colorado is seeking a Space Vehicle Requirements & Verification Architect to define, decompose, and verify mission requirements for Blue Ring spacecraft missions. You will work with cross-functional teams across systems, software, hardware, and ground segments to ensure end-to-end verification and readiness for launch.

The role emphasizes MBSE, lifecycle discipline, and collaboration with customers and government partners to deliver compliant, safe, and reliable space vehicles

Qualifications

• BS in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical or Software engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in space system development or test engineering.
• 2+ years of spacecraft verification experience.
• Experience with requirements management and traceability.
• Ability to derive and allocate requirements and verification methods.
• Familiarity with the Systems Engineering lifecycle and V-model.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• US citizen or eligible for required clearances (TS/SCI).

Responsibilities

• Lead as Mission Requirements & Verification Lead for Blue Ring missions.
• Collaborate with Spacecraft Systems, Flight Software, Payload & Mission Integration, and Ground Systems teams.
• Develop and manage requirements and verification modules with traceability.
• Define verification approaches and plans for system requirements.
• Coordinate verification data collection for system sell-off and launch readiness.
• Create end-to-end spacecraft verification plans and reports.
