Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Vehicle Requirements and Verification Engineer to develop vehicle level requirements and verification plans. You will collaborate with Lunar Permanence teams, NASA, and national partners to shape the lunar vehicle system and its verification campaigns.

You will lead a team of engineers, manage interfaces, and drive the verification process to ensure safe human spaceflight. A strong background in systems engineering and a passion for space are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or another technical field.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
• Experience with requirements and V&V tracking tools (prefer JAMA).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage system-level requirements and verification planning.
• Define and manage interfaces and interface requirements.
• Coordinate with NASA, partners, and teams on requirements and validations.
• Develop system-level verification plans and closure products.
• Track metrics to close out requirements and verification artifacts.
• Lead and guide element teams to ensure high-quality design and delivery.
