Job summary

Blue Origin is hiring a Technician on the Space Coast in Florida. You will fabricate, assemble, and align aerospace components for flight and non-flight hardware, following engineering drawings and instructions.

Expect to drill, surface-treat, and fixture parts with precision while upholding quality and safety standards. You will work across shifts in a dynamic, factory-like environment, supporting continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration to keep hardware on schedule and meeting

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or related field.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with precision calibration and measurement tools.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces.
• Familiarity with adhesives, sealants, fasteners, and 5S principles.
• Basic computer proficiency (Windows, MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and align structural aerospace components per instructions.
• Drill precision holes and maintain tolerances across materials.
• Prepare and treat surfaces for assembly and finishing.
• Fixture components using jigs and tooling for accurate alignment.
• Operate torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers to ensure quality.
• Inspect assemblies, identify discrepancies, and perform repairs or modifications.
• Support continuous improvement and maintain a safe, organized workspace (5S).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Manage handling and integration of flight and non-flight hardware.
• Document work and communicate with engineering and quality teams.
