Job summary

Blue Origin is hiring an Assembly & Integration Technician to build, test, and troubleshoot aerospace systems from engineering drawings. You’ll work with structural, mechanical, and avionics assemblies, using precision tools and calibration gear to ensure safety and quality across high-rate manufacturing.

Responsibilities include setup, fault isolation, and supporting transition from development to production, with a focus on continuous improvement and clean, safe work environments on the Space

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or related field.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
• Hands-on assembly/integration of structural and mechanical systems; includes torquing and fasteners.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate subcomponents and assemblies according to specifications.
• Configure production work areas with tooling to ensure efficient workflow.
• Operate precision tools to maintain safety and quality standards.
• Identify and implement safety, efficiency, and productivity improvements.
• Perform operational tests and fault isolation on assembled systems.
• Support transition from development to production; perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas following 5S principles.
