Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Assembly & Integration Technician to build, integrate, test, and troubleshoot aerospace systems from engineering drawings and work instructions. You will work with mechanical, structural, and avionics subsystems and support high‑rate manufacturing across Space Coast facilities.

You will configure production areas, use torque wrenches, micrometers, and DMMs, and ensure products meet rigorous safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Hands‑on assembly and integration of mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with torque, calipers, micrometers, DMMs.
• Proactive in safety and quality controls.
• Ability to work with 5S housekeeping and clean rooms.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate subcomponents and final assemblies per specifications.
• Prepare tooling and work areas for efficient high‑rate production.
• Operate precision tools to maintain safety and quality standards.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement for safety and productivity.
• Perform tests, fault isolation, and troubleshoot assembled systems.
• Support transition from development to production and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain organized work areas following 5S principles.
