Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Assembly & Integration Technician for Space Coast, FL. You will build, test, and integrate major structural, mechanical, and avionics systems from engineering drawings, performing fault isolation and checks to ensure high safety and quality.

The role requires hands-on assembly experience, the ability to work with precision tools, and a commitment to safe, repeatable spaceflight. Shifts include M-F and a weekend option; relocation is available.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Hands-on assembly and integration of structural and mechanical systems.
• Avionics fabrication and assembly including soldering, crimping, and wire harnessing.
• Proficiency with precision calibration tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers).
• Basic electrical tests using DMMs (voltage/current/resistance).
• Experience with bonding adhesives and sealants for aerospace components.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate subcomponents and final assemblies per engineering specs.
• Configure production work areas with tooling to ensure efficient workflow in high-rate manufacturing.
• Operate precision calibrated tools to maintain safety and quality standards.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement for safety, efficiency, and productivity.
• Perform operational tests, troubleshoot, and fault isolation on assembled systems.
• Support transition from development to production and perform preventative maintenance.
