Job summary

Blue Origin in Space Coast, FL is seeking an Assembly & Integration Technician to provide hands-on support to engineering, production, and manufacturing teams by performing assembly, integration, testing, modification, and checkout of aerospace systems and hardware.

Working from engineering drawings, schematics, and detailed work instructions, you will build, integrate, and troubleshoot prototype and production mechanical systems, structural systems, and avionics systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or related field.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
• Hands-on assembly and integration of structural and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with precision calibration tools such as torque wrenches and micrometers.
• Avionics fabrication including soldering and wiring.
• Basic electrical test skills (voltage/current/resistance).
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs and working at heights or in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate subcomponents and final assemblies per specs.
• Configure production areas with tooling for efficient workflow.
• Operate precision tools to maintain safety and quality.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement for safety and productivity.
• Perform tests, troubleshoot, and fault isolation on assembled systems.
• Support transition from development to production and perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas following 5S principles.
