Job summary

Blue Origin LLC on Space Coast, FL is seeking a Lunar Technician - Assembly & Integration for the Lunar Solar Array. You will build, integrate, and test aerospace systems from engineering drawings, working across mechanical, structural, and avionics domains to support safe and reliable spaceflight.

This role requires hands-on assembly, interpretation of drawings, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. We value safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a collaborative Operations team.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration or related field.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Hands-on assembly and integration of structural and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with precision tools (torque wrenches, calipers).
• Avionics fabrication and soldering/wire harnessing.
• Basic electrical test using DMMs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate subcomponents and full assemblies per engineering specs.
• Configure work areas with tooling to optimize workflow.
• Operate precision calibrated tools to maintain safety and quality.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement for safety, efficiency, and productivity.
• Perform tests, troubleshoot, and fault isolation for reliable systems.
• Support transition from development to production and perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas following 5S principles.
