Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Assembly & Integration Technician to build, integrate, and test aerospace systems from engineering drawings and detailed work instructions. You will work on mechanical, structural, and avionics assemblies, performing tests, fault isolation, and continual improvement while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will operate a range of precision tools, support production transitions, and maintain 5S-compliant work areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or related field.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Hands-on assembly and integration of mechanical structures and avionics.
• Proficient with precision calibration tools and measurement devices.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs and working at heights or in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate subcomponents and major systems per engineering specs.
• Configure production areas with tooling to ensure efficient workflow.
• Operate precision tools to maintain safety and quality standards.
• Identify and implement safety, efficiency, and productivity improvements.
• Perform operational tests, troubleshooting, and fault isolation on assembled systems.
• Support transition from development to production and perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas following 5S principles.
