Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle is seeking an Engineering Operations Lead for the MK-1 Lunar Lander Avionics Team. You will work with the IPT to deliver avionics products powering the lunar lander, from requirements to deployment, ensuring safety and on-time delivery.

The role requires coordinating with teams, managing schedules, and communicating risks and opportunities. A passion for spaceflight and hands-on project leadership is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in aerospace or related industries
• Experience managing firmware and embedded software projects
• Experience with agile product planning and sprint execution

Responsibilities

• Maintain the team's operating cadence through stakeholder communication and KPI reporting for avionics development
• Generate boards/tools for project health and reviews
• Performs scrum master role for avionics teams following agile development methods
• Supports team representation in agile product planning and release planning
• Define, monitor, and track all receivables and deliverables from the MK-1 Avionics IPT
• Maintain an integrated management schedule factoring dependencies and deliverables
• Coordinate with internal/external facilities to ensure on-time delivery of avionics products
