Blue Origin is seeking an Avionics Hardware Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on developing electrical hardware for Lunar Landers. You will drive architecture, tests, and qualification across the full product lifecycle, from concept through production, while mentoring engineers and aligning with mission safety standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, technical excellence, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Physics, or related discipline.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary development projects with coaching responsibilities.
• 5+ years of experience in at least one space-flight related specialty.
• Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills.
• Understanding of hardware engineering principles and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead, and own upgraded analog and digital avionic designs for lunar hardware.
• Own architecture of hardware and firmware designs and support rugged electronic assemblies end-to-end.
• Lead architecture trade studies, performance characterization, and device selection.
• Perform design risk analyses, FMECA, DFx, and root-cause analysis of test discrepancies.
• Communicate development status and risks to management; mentor team members and drive career growth.
