Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is hiring a HDL Cargo Integration Lead to drive the payload integration activities for the Lunar Surface Habitat program. You will define interfaces, coordinate with multiple teams, and ensure compliant design environments for launch and landing operations.

The role requires extensive experience with systems engineering, interface definitions, and cross‑organizational collaboration with NASA and international partners. On-site in Washington state with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or an equivalent related field.
• Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills.
• Experience coordinating with NASA and international partners is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, define, and deliver the payload interface control document (ICD).
• Define and communicate the payload design environments (loads, thermal, vibration, EMI/EMC, contamination) and lead integrated analyses.
• Lead payload safety integration, hazard analyses, and safety reviews with provider and NASA.
• Plan payload delivery, ground processing, and launch-site integration including transport and GSE.
