Job summary

Blue Origin in Merritt Island, FL seeks a Lunar Launch Integration Lead to join the Lunar Permanence team. You will direct integration tasks for the Mission ICD and coordinate range safety with the New Glenn team for lunar vehicles.

Qualifications

• BS or equivalent in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Experience working at a launch site processing launch vehicles or spacecraft payloads.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Ability to coordinate across collaborators and experts from different engineering fields to support Mission ICD and Range product closure.
• Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct integration tasks for the Mission ICD for Lunar vehicles, collaborating with the New Glenn Launch Vehicle team to define requirements, drive development, and verify completion.
• Direct customization and execution of Range Safety protocols for Lunar vehicles, coordinating with USSF Delta 45 and the New Glenn team for timely deliverables.
• Collaborate with the New Glenn payload integration team to ensure safe transport, integration, and deployment of Lunar vehicles.
• Assist the Lunar Launch Integration Lead with encapsulation, launch processing, and Day of Launch tasks.
