Blue Origin is seeking an HDL Cargo Integration Lead to act as the Single Threaded Leader for integrating the Lunar Surface Habitat with the HDL. You will coordinate with the LSH cargo provider, MK2 vehicle team, NASA, and other partners to define interfaces, environments, and verification plans for payload integration.

The role requires leading cross-organizational teams, performing risk tracking, and ensuring safety reviews and export controls compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience performing payload integration on a spacecraft or launch vehicle.
• Experience with the Systems Engineering lifecycle (requirements, interface definition, verification, validation).
• Experience managing requirements and interface baselines, including negotiating ICDs.
• Experience leading technical trades balancing performance, cost, and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, define, and deliver the payload interface control document (ICD).
• Define and communicate the payload design environments and lead integrated analyses.
• Define payload integration milestones and work with Mission Manager.
• Manage contract deliverables and interface with NASA customer.
• Own interface verification and plan pathfinder activities.
• Oversee payload operations concept and integrate into mission flight plan.
• Lead payload safety integration and safety reviews with provider and NASA.
• Plan payload delivery, ground processing, and launch-site integration.
• Work with Trade Compliance on export data exchange controls.
• Lead TIMs and integration meetings with provider and NASA.
