Job summary

PARR is seeking Lumber Yard Associates to safely load customer vehicles with building materials and to maintain yard organization. The role requires operating a forklift, following procedures, and providing legendary service on-site in a busy yard environment.

Responsibilities include inspecting received inventory, completing paperwork, and assisting customers with product knowledge while adhering to safety standards and company policy.

Qualifications

• OSHA forklift license preferred.
• English literacy required.
• Knowledge of receiving and inventory control principles.

Responsibilities

• Safely load customer vehicles with orders of building materials.
• Complete required paperwork per company policy.
• Receive delivered inventory and verify accuracy against invoices.
• Inspect stock and return items for salability.
• Keep yard and racks organized and clean.
• Read and follow picking tickets and instructions.
• Operate forklift safely and conduct daily lift inspections.
• Greet and assist customers and share product knowledge.
