Job summary

PARR is hiring Lumber Yard Associates to load customer orders and stock materials in a busy outdoor lumberyard. The role emphasizes safe forklift operation, accurate paperwork, and strong attention to detail.

You will receive training and work outdoors in all weather, with opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package described by the company. This is a seasonally active, physical position.

Qualifications

• OSHA forklift license preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Knowledge of receiving and inventory control principles.
• Ability to read and interpret picking tickets and invoices.
• Ability to read a measuring tape and understand product terminology.
• General knowledge and use of power tools.

Responsibilities

• Safely load customer vehicles with orders of building materials.
• Inspect paperwork and deposit inventory in designated locations.
• Receive deliveries and verify accuracy of paperwork.
• Stock inventory and maintain yard organization.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and safety checks.
• Maintain cleanliness of yard and warehouse areas.
