Job summary

Busy Beaver Building Centers is seeking a Pro Sales Specialist - Bench to lead the Lumber and Building Materials Departments from the Sales Desk. You will cultivate contractor and commercial relationships, service DIY customers, and train junior staff to boost department performance.

The role offers base pay of 20–25 USD per hour with bonuses including a monthly sales achievement bonus and new account bonuses. Prior sales experience in building materials is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with Commercial Sales / Contractor Sales is required.
• Knowledgeable in Lumber, Building Materials, Hardware.
• High School Diploma is required; college degree is preferred though not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist Management in customer engagement strategies to achieve sales and margin objectives.
• Establish relationships with Contractor/Commercial sales customers and local businesses.
• Drive department metrics and ensure merchandise is presented prominently.
• Lead by example at the sales desk and train junior team members.
• Manage quotes and estimates, and monitor safety awareness.
