Job summary

Busy Beaver Building Centers in Mount Pleasant, PA is seeking a Pro Sales Specialist to lead the Lumber and Building Materials Sales Desk and drive contractor and DIY sales growth. You will cultivate commercial relationships, service projects, and coach junior teammates while maintaining a high level of customer engagement, product knowledge, and cross-merchandising.

The base pay ranges from $20 to $25 per hour, with a monthly sales bonus up to $2,500 and uncapped new account commissions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required; a college degree is preferred though not necessary.
• Experience with Commercial Sales / Contractor Sales.
• Knowledgeable in Lumber, Building Materials, Hardware.
• Retail sales and inside sales experience (2–3 years) is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists Management in implementing, driving and monitoring customer engagement strategies to achieve sales and margin objectives for assigned departments.
• Establishes relationships with Contractor/Commercial sales customers and local businesses.
• Drives Department metrics to achieve set goals and ensures merchandising.
• Leads by example for customer engagement and mentors junior Sales Desk team members.
• Manages quotes and estimates; maintains safety awareness.
