Lithia & Driveway is seeking an entry level Automotive Technician to join our Bellevue service team. This onsite role offers a flat rate pay structure and includes Saturday rotations. You will learn and contribute to the dealership's success while gaining industry skills.

We value teamwork, customer service, and safety, with opportunities for training and career progression. This is an entry level position with potential for ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• We prefer experience as an express/quick lube technician, but do not require it.
• Ability to operate several cars, light trucks, and vans, with both manual and automatic transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, observing Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Record time spent repairs using company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair order and test procedures/results.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning every day.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training.

Entry Level Technician

Pay to be offered at $19 flat rate.

Schedule is on a rotation and will include some Saturdays.

This position is located onsite in Bellevue WA and reports to the Service Manager.

We're looking for Entry Level Automotive Technicians to join our busy service team! This is an opportunity to learn and contribute to this dealership's overall success while gaining new industry skills!

What You'll Do

• The technician provides and maintains an inventory of normal mechanics tools. These tools include screwdrivers, wrenches, socket wrenches, pliers, hammers, chisels, and punches, and other tools needed to perform the work for which the technician is trained. The service department does not normally inventory these tools as special tools.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning every day.
• Complete all required training
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training

What You'll Bring

Total Rewards

Flat rate pay range for this role is $19-$21 per flagged hour. This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation.

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
