Job summary

Lithia Toyota of Redding is hiring a Lube Technician to join our service team. The role offers an hourly wage between $16.90 and $20.00 (DOE) with a schedule from 7am to 6pm, Monday through Saturday, requiring flexibility.

You will train on the job, earn competitive pay, and have a path toward advanced technician roles. Qualified candidates will have basic automotive experience, strong attention to detail, good communication, and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repairs efficiently and accurately according to repair orders and manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and complete repairs following safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles and document repairs, tests, results and labor time.
• Maintain tools and return dealership tools after use.
• Keep a clean, organized workspace and complete daily stall cleanings.
• Ensure vehicles are returned in clean condition.

What You'll Do

• Perform vehicle repairs efficiently and accurately according to repair orders, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
• Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and complete all repairs while following applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles and document all repairs, test procedures, results, and labor time accurately.
• Maintain and provide required personal mechanic tools, and properly return dealership special tools after use.
• Use shop supplies and materials responsibly while keeping a clean, organized work area and completing daily stall cleanings.
• Ensure every customer's vehicle is returned in the same clean condition as it was received.
• Complete all required training and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications.
• Participate in technical training and stay current by reviewing technical bulletins and other assigned publications.
• Communicate with dealership personnel to support customer satisfaction and teamwork.
• Report any safety concerns or situations that could affect the well-being, security, or integrity of the dealership, employees, or customers.
