Job summary

Camp Chevrolet in Spokane, WA is seeking entry-level Automotive Technicians to join our busy service team on site. This role offers hands-on training and a path to grow within Lithia & Driveway. You will perform basic maintenance, inspections, and communicate recommendations to the service advisor.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• 1+ years of express/quick lube technician experience or completion of an accredited automotive program.

Responsibilities

• Align with company programs and benchmarks.
• Provide a professional and welcoming first impression of Camp Chevrolet.
• Perform minor maintenance, e.g., changing engine oil and filters.
• Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels.
• Communicate appropriate vehicle maintenance recommendations to the service advisor.
• Complete multi-point inspections and video walkarounds
• Road-test vehicles to verify quality of work
• Stay current on required OEM and manufacturer training

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring

• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• 1+years of experience as an express/quick lube technician or completion of an accredited automotive program.
• Comfort in operating several types of cars, light trucks, and vans, with an ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Comfort in navigating computer and dealership technologies.
• Willingness to participate in professional development opportunities.
• Adept to handle high-volume and adapt to our needs.
• Have a desire to grow with us in this automotive industry
• A team player who is focused on providing great customer service.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.

Total Rewards

The flat rate earning range for this role is $18-$20 per flagged hour. This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation.

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
