Job summary

Linder Turf & Tractor is seeking a Service Manager to oversee the service department's efficiency, profitability, and safety. Responsibilities include managing shop workspaces, processing work orders and invoices, warranty claims, and leading a team while maintaining excellent customer service.

The role requires strong communication, computer proficiency, and experience in maintenance/repair operations. Spanish is a plus and high school diploma or GED is required. Equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all services and workspaces in shop.

• Delegate and direct service tasks; monitor progress of all current and pending projects.
• Consistently deliver positive customer service experience by offering knowledge, advice, and answering questions.
• Act as a source of information for service, inventory, and product-knowledge concerns and work process matters.
• Manage and update invoices.
• Process new orders and track inventory.
• Communicate and maintain good relations with manufacturing representatives.
• Keep a safe and clean workspace at all times.
• Monitor employee work and provide frequent progress reports to improve satisfaction and efficiency.
• Follow and abide by all industry standards, regulations, and laws.
• Help train new employees in company procedures, including safety and work processes.
• Stay up to date on industry standards and new innovations, materials, tools and processes that can benefit the company.
• Monitor workflow & time.
• Other tasks as requested by management.
