Job summary

Fairgrounds Transportation is seeking a LTL Customer Service & Quoting Specialist to support a fast-growing sales team. The role emphasizes accurate, timely quotes and seamless shipment coordination to build customer confidence and loyalty.

You will resolve freight issues, master the Tai TMS system, and develop standardized communication templates. This is an on-site, full-time hourly position aimed at delivering professional, drama-free service and measurable improvements in quoting efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience handling high-volume quotes for LTL freight.
• Proficient with Tai TMS and Gmail for quoting and communication.
• Strong problem-solving and client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve 20–25 quotes per day with 98% accuracy within 90 days.
• Handle 4–7 daily inquiries and develop proactive resolution playbooks within 6 months.
• Develop standardized Gmail and Tai TMS templates for common inquiries.
• Establish top-5 carrier communications to improve updates and issue handling.
• Serve as SME in LTL processes and provide backup coverage during peak periods.
