Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program; degree preferred.
• LPN license (state requirements)
• CPR certification, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs general management functions such as hiring, disciplining and evaluating staff.
• Plans and facilitates meetings to address resident care issues for the unit.
• Manages staffing and census to meet resident needs and budgetary controls.
• Ensures timely physician interventions and appropriate medical orders.
• Oversees ongoing QA and staff education to promote quality care.
• Onboards new personnel and supports staff with procedures.
