Job summary

MediLodge of Green View is seeking a Unit Manager/Nurse Supervisor Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to lead the nursing unit in a long-term care setting. You will direct staffing, operations, and resident care to ensure the highest standards are met.

The role requires an LPN with solid nursing experience, including LTC exposure, and leadership skills to motivate staff and coordinate care with physicians. This on-site position emphasizes patient-centered care and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing; degree preferred.
• LPN license and CPR certification as applicable.
• Three years nursing experience, including at least one year in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Direct the operation of the nursing unit, including staffing, hiring, disciplining and evaluating employees.
• Plan and lead meetings to address resident care issues for the unit.
• Ensure staffing meets resident needs and budgetary controls while maintaining high quality of care.
• Develop and evaluate programs for recruitment, retention, and continuing education of nursing staff.
• Coordinate physician contact and ensure timely physician interventions.
