Job summary

MediLodge is seeking a Unit Manager/Nurse Supervisor (LPN) to direct the daily operations of a nursing unit in a long-term care facility. You will oversee staffing, care plans, and coordination with physicians to ensure high-quality resident care.

This role requires a nursing degree (LPN) with licensure, plus at least three years of nursing experience, including in long-term care. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing; degree preferred.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN); CPR certification if applicable.
• Three years of nursing experience, including one year in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Direct the operation of a nursing unit, including staffing and supervision.
• Plan and facilitate resident-care meetings and address unit issues.
• Manage budget, staffing, and quality of care to meet standards.
• Develop and evaluate programs for staff recruitment, retention and education.
• Coordinate physician interventions and ensure timely, appropriate care.
• Monitor unit operations, supplies, and medical records for safety and efficiency.
