Job summary

South Health And Rehabilitation LLC is seeking a dedicated Staff Development Nurse (LPN) to join our leadership team. You will empower nursing staff with skills, training, and confidence to deliver high-quality resident care.

The role requires an Alabama LPN license and at least three years of nursing experience, preferably in Long-Term Care, with prior leadership in Staff Development. Competitive benefits, full-time schedule, and on-site facility duties are included.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license to practice in Alabama.
• Minimum of three years nursing experience as an LPN preferred.
• Experience in Long-Term Care and/or skilled nursing facilities.
• Leadership or staff development experience in LTC/Skilled Nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement ongoing educational programs for nursing and support staff.
• Conduct new employee orientation and onboarding.
• Evaluate staff competencies and coordinate in-service training.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility standards.
• Support infection control and quality assurance programs.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff.
