Job summary

CommCare Corporation is seeking a Staff Development Nurse - LPN to lead clinical training across our facilities in Mississippi. You will develop in-service programs, assess staff competency, and ensure adherence to infection control standards, while collaborating with a dedicated care team.

The role requires RN or LPN licensure in Mississippi and experience in long-term or post-acute care, with strong Word/Excel skills and leadership capabilities for a dynamic care environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN or LPN license to practice in Mississippi.
• Infection control knowledge is required; infection control cert is preferred.
• Minimum two years in long-term care or post-acute care; at least one year in acute care is preferred.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan an organized system of training to maintain staff competence and safety.
• Develop and implement in-service programs to improve facility personnel skills.
• Continuously assess learning during orientation and adjust teaching methods.
• Attend corporate staff development and infection control meetings.
• Plan and implement nurse aide training programs per state and federal requirements.
