Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring for Licensed Practical Nurses to work in North Phoenix and nearby areas, providing in-home care for adult patients during overnights.

Full-time, 12-hour overnight shifts, with flexible days, caring for an adult male with a G-tube. Competitive pay, benefits, and weekly paychecks are offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and nursing diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders

• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
