Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in Peoria, AZ is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide in-home care for pediatric and adult patients.

Shifts include day and overnight assignments with competitive hourly pay of $28-$32 per hour and weekly paychecks. Responsibilities include using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care; delivering skilled nursing per orders; monitoring patient status and documenting findings.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray clearance.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) card.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing services per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and nursing diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.


• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders


• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.


• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.


• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.


• Current BLS card.


• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.
