Job summary

Camelot Nursing & Rehab in Missouri is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our compassionate team. You will provide high-quality nursing care, support individualized care plans, and help residents maintain comfort and safety in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing.
• One year of nursing experience is preferred.
• Valid LPN license.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of nursing and implement individualized care plans.
• Assess and document residents’ condition and nursing needs.
• Administer medications and start IVs where applicable.
• Assign nursing care to team members in accordance with residents’ needs.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are maintained safely.

• Days:7:00 am - 7:00 pm
• Nights: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
• Employees must work every other weekend

• $6,000 Sign-On Bonus for full-time qualifying candidates

Essential Functions of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspect of nursing
• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications
• Administers medications
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents
• Documents that treatment as required
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing
• One year of nursing experience is preferred
• Valid LPN license
• Valid CPR certification
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff
