Normandy Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our care team. You will support residents with nursing duties across day, evening, and night shifts in a supportive, team-based environment.

Starting pay is $32.00/hour with a $10,000 sign-on for full-time qualifying candidates, shift differential where applicable, PTO, holidays, tuition reimbursement up to $5,000/year, and a 401(k) plan with company matches.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing.
• One year of nursing experience is preferred.
• Valid LPN license.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a team member.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff at all levels.
• Ability to react decisively in emergencies.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of nursing care.
• Initiate and lead individualized nursing care plans.
• Assess and document residents’ condition and nursing needs.
• Implement physicians’ orders promptly.
• Assign nursing care to team members.
• Administer medications.
• Start IVs and treatments.
• Document treatments as required.

• Evenings 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Essential Functionsof Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspect of nursing

• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards

• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans

• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs
