Job summary

East Gate Care and Rehab is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our senior care facility in Oklahoma. You will join a dedicated team providing high-quality nursing care to residents and participate in care planning, medication administration, and emergency response.

The role offers afternoons or nights shifts with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time qualifying candidates, competitive pay, shift differential, PTO after 30 days, holidays with premium pay, tuition

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing
• One year of nursing experience is preferred
• Valid LPN license
• Valid CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of nursing care
• Provide services that meet regulatory standards
• Initiate and lead individualized nursing care plans
• Assess and document resident conditions and needs
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Start IVs and perform treatments as needed
• Ensure supplies are used efficiently and equipment maintained

Available Shifts

• Afternoons 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

• Nights 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

• $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time qualifying candidates

Essential Functions of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspect of nursing

• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards

• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans

• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs

• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders

• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications

• Administers medications

• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents

• Documents that treatment as required

• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner

• Others duties as assigned

Qualifications of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing

• One year of nursing experience is preferred

• Valid LPN license

• Valid CPR certification

• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.

• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization

• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations

• Ability to maintain confidentiality

• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff
