Broadway Care & Rehab Center in Oklahoma is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated care team. This PRN posting is for flexible shifts with full-time benefits and a generous sign-on bonus for qualifying full-time candidates.

You will deliver nursing care under physician orders, assist in care plans, administer medications, document resident conditions, and collaborate with staff to meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN program
• One year nursing experience preferred
• Valid LPN license
• Valid CPR certification
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of nursing care
• Implement physicians’ orders accurately and promptly
• Lead individualized nursing care plans
• Assess and document residents’ condition and nursing needs
• Assign nursing care to team members based on needs and capabilities

• Start IVs and perform treatments

Essential Functions of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspect of nursing

• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards

• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans

• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs

• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders

• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications

• Administers medications

• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents

• Documents that treatment as required

• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner

• Others duties as assigned

Qualifications of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
