MGM Healthcare in Springfield, MO is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient-centered nursing care on-site. You will assess residents, document needs, administer medications, start IVs, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes adherence to standards, confidentiality, and timely communication with residents and families. Full-time with comprehensive benefits and a sign-on bonus is offered.

Formación

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Valid LPN license and CPR certification.

• Days 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM
• Nights 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

• Competitive Pay Based On Experience. Starting rate for this position is $32.00 / hour!

Essential Functions of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspect of nursing
• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications
• Administers medications
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents
• Documents that treatment as required
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner
• Others duties as assigned

Qualifications of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing
• One year of nursing experience is preferred
• Valid LPN license
• Valid CPR certification
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff
