Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work one on one with a patient in the home setting in Elburn, IL. Salary is $35-$45 per hour, with night shifts available Fri/Sat/Sun 7p-7a and a day shift on Saturdays 7a-7p.

Acuity includes G-tube/Trach/Vent/Pediatric. Maxim offers competitive pay, health and welfare benefits, PTO, 401(k), and recognition programs.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing License in the state in which the practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Performs focused interview to identify specific patient needs.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses
• Other Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) duties as assigned.
