Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in the home setting is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes. The role offers competitive hourly pay and weekly paychecks.

Requirements include an active LPN/LVN license in the practicing state, current TB or chest X-ray, and a current BLS card. One year of nursing experience is preferred; health and retirement benefits are included in Maxim's package.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state where the LPN will practice.
• One year of prior professional nursing experience preferred
• Provides skilled nursing care in the patient’s home using the nursing process

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing services per prescribed orders in each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms and document nursing diagnoses and changes in condition.
• Collect and analyze data from care team and patients to guide care.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
