Job summary

Henderson Health and Rehabilitation Center is hiring a licensed practical nurse or registered nurse to join our compassionate care team in Henderson, Tennessee. You will oversee daily CNA activities, participate in admissions and transfers, and administer medications per physician orders.

As a key team member, you will update care plans, monitor resident conditions, and report changes to the nurse supervisor while maintaining patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted LPN or RN License for the state of Tennessee.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily activities of the CNAs and ensure policies and procedures are followed by nursing personnel.
• Participate in admissions, discharges and transfers of residents as required.
• Assess resident’s conditions, prepare, and administer medications per physician orders.
• Initiate, review, and update care plans.
• Report any changes in a resident’s condition to the nurse supervisor and keep them informed of factors that interfere with being able to perform work as assigned.
• Perform other assigned duties given by clinical or administrative leadership.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.
