Job summary

Essentia Health in Fargo, ND seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant for our Family Practice at the 45th Street Clinic, with flex coverage across clinics. You will assist physicians and care for patients from newborns to the elderly in an ambulatory setting, working 24 hours weekly with a flexible schedule and no weekend rotations.

Minimum licensure requirements include ND LPN licensure and CMA certification/eligibility within specified timelines; BCLS required within 3

Qualifications

• LPN: Current LPN license in the state of North Dakota.
• CMA: Current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant and must become certified within one year of date of hire.
• CMA: Must pass certification within two attempts.
• CMA: Must be registered as a Medication Assistant III through the North Dakota Board of Nursing within 60 days of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting.
• Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.
• Work across Essentia Health clinics with flexible scheduling and 24 hours weekly.

This LPN or CMA works 7:45am am to 5 pm, this is a flex position, candidate will work 24 hours weekly with the ability to flex up during high volumes.
