Job summary

Northstar Post Acute is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to support the Director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing, and directing daily nursing operations within a long-term care facility. You will help maintain current policies, resolve resident care issues, and ensure care aligns with professional standards.

The role involves nursing diagnoses, care plan development, and collaboration with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing with a BSN preferred.
• Must be in good standing with the State Board of Nursing and maintain continuing education/licensing.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; PCC knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing and directing day-to-day nursing functions.
• Develop and update written policies and procedures for the nursing department.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and ensure nursing care follows standards.
• Make nursing diagnoses and develop plans of care based on assessments.
• Oversee care plan development, documentation, and coordination with other services.
