Job summary

PACS Nursing Department is seeking an experienced LPN/LVN or RN supervisor to provide direct nursing care and oversee nursing assistants in our long-term care facility. The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local standards and coordinates daily nursing activities.

Responsibilities include directing day-to-day operations, maintaining the Nursing Service Procedures Manual, reviewing policies, planning shifts, and participating in the facility's quality assurance program.

Qualifications

• Must possess nursing degree or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess current, active nursing license in the state.
• CPR certification is required; PCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Review and update Nursing Service Procedures Manual and related policies.
• Plan shifts and coordinate nursing services with other departments.
• Participate in discharge planning and resident care planning.
