You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain high quality resident care.

Responsibilities include directing nursing staff, maintaining documentation, supervising medication administration, and participating in quality assurance activities.

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
• Ensure that all nursing personnel assigned to you comply with the written policies and procedures established by this facility.
• Participate in the development, maintenance, and implementation of the facility's quality assurance program for the nursing service department.
• Lead and supervise nursing staff, ensuring high quality resident care and adherence to care plans.
• Maintain and review Nursing Service Procedures Manual and related documentation.
