Job summary

Napa Post Acute in seeks a licensed LPN/LVN supervisor to provide direct nursing care and oversee day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs. You will ensure care aligns with federal, state, and local standards, and with facility policies under the direction of the Director of Nursing.

This role requires directing nursing staff, maintaining documentation, participating in quality assurance, and coordinating discharge planning while upholding patient safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Knowledge and/or experience with PCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Ensure that nursing personnel comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Review and revise department policies and job descriptions as needed.
• Lead staffing planning and coordinate shifts and services.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure compliance.
• Prepare reports and coordinate with other departments as required.
• Participate in the facility's quality assurance program.
