Job summary

Villa at Beecher Place is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team in Flint, MI. The LPN is responsible for direct resident care, medication administration, and shift reporting under physician orders and facility guidelines.

Requirements include an active LPN license in Michigan and CPR certification, with 1 year of experience preferred, especially in long-term care. Excellent communication and infection-control skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification required.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as an LPN.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and per standards.
• Maintains clean and sanitary work areas and documents shift reports.
• Directs and supervises CNA services to ensure quality care.
• Performs resident assessments/observations and reviews care plans.
• Takes vital signs and administers medications as ordered.
• Transcribes physician orders to resident charts and MAR.
• Completes admission/transfer/discharge forms.
• Ensures safety and addresses hazards in the resident environment.
• Generates written and oral reports on shift activities.
• Implements and updates care plans as per IDT recommendations.
