Villa Healthcare seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our facility in Michigan. The LPN will be responsible for providing licensed care to residents, administering medications, and coordinating with the care team to implement care plans.

The role requires adherence to safety standards and active communication with physicians and staff. Ideal candidates have a current LPN license in the state, CPR certification, and prior long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• Current license to practice in the State as an LPN.
• 1 year experience preferred; long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with standards.
• Maintains clean and sanitary work areas and nursing stations.
• Directs and supervises CNA services for the unit.
• Prepares and administers medications and treatments as ordered.
• Charts nurse notes reflecting care and patient response.
• Completes admission/transfer/discharge forms.
• Ensures safe resident environment and address hazards.
• Keeps care plans current and suggests changes as needed.
