Job summary

Villa Healthcare in Flint, MI is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated team. The LPN will provide licensed nursing care to residents, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with physicians to implement care plans.

You will supervise CNAs, document care notes, follow infection control standards, and participate in shift reporting. Current LPN license in Michigan and CPR certification are required; prior long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan LPN license and CPR certification required.
• Prior long-term care experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow physician orders and care plans accurately.
• Ability to document care and communicate clearly with team.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed nursing care to residents per physician orders and standards.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs and treatments.
• Direct and supervise CNAs to ensure quality care on assigned unit.
• Record accurate nursing notes and update care plans as needed.
• Perform admissions, transfers, and discharge documentation.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary care environments.
• Report shift activities and safety concerns to the IDT.
• Adhere to infection control policies and safety guidelines.
