Job summary

Villa at Pine Place is actively seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide licensed nursing care for residents. You will administer medications, monitor vitals, and collaborate with physicians to follow care plans and orders.

The role requires adherence to federal and state guidelines and a focus on patient safety. Ideal candidates have an active LPN license, CPR certification, and 1 year of experience, with long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• LPN license in state where practicing.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and per standards.
• Give and receive shift reports and maintain documentation.
• Keep work areas, rooms and treatment areas clean and sanitary.
• Supervise CNA services to ensure care is rendered per standards.
• Assess residents and review care plans for appropriate care.
• Take vital signs, provide IV therapy and respiratory care as ordered.
• Transcribe physician orders to charts/MAR and treatment plans.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered; chart notes accordingly.
• Report on shift activities and safety concerns.
• Ensure care plans are implemented and updated as needed.
